 There are certain moments in any story where the protagonist or hero must decide whether to persevere under the most trying of circumstances, or turn back, subjecting him or herself to a life without the purpose that was set forth when they started that journey. The weight and stress of this moment in the story is a pivotal time. We all just assume that the hero with continue, but when we relate this moment to our own lives, we have to wonder what choice we would make. That epic battle that decides the fate of the world can be comparable to a battle against cancer, the success of a business, or deciding whether to continue a marriage. The question that I ask myself is, "are you going to accept the challenges that you have set forth in your hero's journey, or quit the quest that has given purpose to your life." There are no right answers to this question, only whether you're willing to accept the outcome. I say follow that bliss; that path which makes you feel alive, and never give in or give up on your dream.
